Local Soldier Memorial Quilt at McGrath

View the memorial quilt for local soldiers killed in Iraq at McGrath Library. The quilt is an original design, drawn by Colleen Dippold with Liz Curry’s input. Background research was done by Liz Curry, as well as selection of the soldiers photographs to be incorporated in the quilt based on a criteria of age and locale. Liz Curry then transferred the photographs onto fabric printer sheets for insertion in the quilt, and Colleen Dippold pieced, sewed and tied the quilt.
